A video for you....

Hiya Stevie baby, how's it rockin' in YOUR world today??

I'm still in "the zone" from last night's concert...I tell ya, it's like an addiction, this "high" feeling after a Journey concert...I'm sure you've felt that a few times yourself...and lemme tell ya, there are WORSE things to be addicted to in this world!!  So, I'm enjoying every addictive moment of it!!

I know you will probably never show up at a Journey concert, even though a sexy Pittsburgh chick like ME really hoped you would, so I wanted to share this video clip with you...

Now, I don't want to cause you any kind of heartache or pain by watching it, though. I just thought you should see just how Arnel Pineda is interacting with the audience, and how the song STILL and always WILL remain the audience's favorite of all time...I want you to be PROUD when you watch this, because YOU are the man who created it, and YOU are the man who TAUGHT this little guy how to do it all those years.  So, in my opinion, Arnel is carrying on what YOU started, and he's giving his all, and I BELIEVE he is doing you proud.  So, look at it with an open mind, and know that I love you dearly, and my intention is only meant to be a POSITIVE, HAPPY one, (you can even hear me going WOOOOO in the background)....!!

I also couldn't send the entire 12 minute video to myself on email, to download it here for you, so I had to break it up into little clips.  I've only included "Don't Stop Believin" here, though. The last song of the night was "Lovin' Touchin' Squeezin'."  I have that on video as well, AND, I have MYSELF on the video climbing on a chair, and reaching over to shake Arnel's hand...the poor kid FELL OFF THE STAGE the night before, while trying to shake hands with everybody! He's so damned short, he just can't reach!!  At one point, I tried to reach him from my seat, but he motioned to his arm, and gave me the "too small" sign, shrugged his shoulders, then, as he walked away, he suddenly turned around, motioned to me to come back, then he sat DOWN on the stage, reached out his FOOT to me, and I grabbed hold of his SHOE, and squeezed it!!  That was hilarious!!  Some chicks behind me started patting me on the back and giving me high-5's!!!  Laughed my head off.  What a cool dude!!

I swear if the boy had a handle built on him, I'd take his puny ass home with me, he's THAT adorable!!

Anyway, so here it is....the video....and the awesome surprise at the end....(what a mess, but VERY COOL just the same)....

Well, there you have it...I think he did a pretty good job overall...he's not as ANNUNCIATED and CLEAR as you were, of course, but overall, for English being his second language, I'd say he's really doing the very best he possibly can, just like you did all those years. NOBODY will EVER replace you, though, I don't care WHO they get---unless it's a CLONE of you----so, until that technology comes along, this is the best they've got to carry on where you left off.  Arnel is really a good kid, and you can tell, he LOVES the song, he LOVES the band, and he LOVES YOU too.  That boy is OOZING love!

Okay, time to put away my groupie-ness for awhile, and go have a sammich for lunch.

Love you dearly, you sweet sexy man...YOU are still my favorite lead singer of all time, I don't CARE if your voice changes as you grow older...hell,  you could bottle your damned SWEAT and I'd buy a few bottles of it!!  In my eyes, Sir, you can do no wrong.  I adore you.
