All dressed up on a Saturday night...

Hey there Stevie baby!!

Happy weekend!!  I am geeked because I read the latest poop about your plans to get another album together!! CONGRATULATIONS!!  I am very proud of you, ya know.  I mean, come on, if Etta James can still sing like a pro in her 80's, you've just GOTTA keep going for awhile, ya know? It's in your blood, and you cannot deny the passion inside of yourself.  It would be a crime if you just faded into oblivion without one last "hurrah!" You've been retired, you've had some time to live a "normal" life (whatever THAT is), so now it's time to get off your lazy butt and GET BUSY!!  And, if you do indeed get busy with a new album, and if you TOUR to Pittsburgh my friend, I PROMISE YOU that I will be in the front row, right in the very center!!  And I'll carry a sign that says, "YOU SEXY BEAST, I LOVE YOU."  So, get busy pouring your heart and soul into some more music, and look for me when it's time, will ya?!

I'm waiting for Pete to come home from his play.  He's "King Herrod" in Jesus Christ Superstar.  Once he gets here, we're off to a party.  I am all dressed up in my "fetish" outfit, (black lace tutu's, black leggings, my black leather corset, a tank top underneath it that says "Spank Me" on it, and a see-through black frilly blouse over it.  If I do say so myself, I think I look pretty damned good.  hehehehehe  I took a picture of myself, I'll add it here for you; probably tomorrow afternoon.

We've been going to an "un-conference," all day long today...it's the first one I've ever attended, and Pete as well.  It was interesting. You show up, you decide what you're passionate about teaching, or interested in attending to learn something new, and then you write a sign with your idea and tape it to a wall, in a timeline, so that people can attend various "classes" that are rather spontaneous.  It's rather fun, actually. I gave a class today, for the first time.  I've wanted to do that for awhile, but I'm a bit shy about it.  I mean, you don't just say, "Hey, I like to give oral...so I want to teach others about it."  Ya know?  It's kinda bizarre, and some people might just shy away from taking a class like that...(some don't want to admit they don't like doing it, or they're no good at it). Well, as predicted, not many people sat down to talk about it, and I didn't have to do any kind of "demonstration" or anything at all.  We were just going to talk about different "head space" that the Dom and sub get into when that particular activity is going on.  So, a few of us sat down (along with the un-conference host), and had a lot of fun talking about it.

Well, anyway, tomorrow morning this "un-conference" continues with a pancake breakfast.  So we'll be out late tonight, and up early tomorrow *again* and I'll be exhausted by the time this thing ends.

BUT!!! I HAVE GREAT NEWS!!!

The house is OURS.  Yes, I am happy to report that we asked the current home owners if they would fix any of the minor issues that need to be addressed, or if they would give us the $$ to do the work ourselves. They said, "We'll give you $$." So we haggled a bit about how much, we asked for $4600 but they said, "We'll give you $3000."  So we countered with "How about $3500?" and they replied with "We'll give you $4000, and that's the end of it."  So, we accepted, and now we just have to sign the papers and close the deal!!!  YAYYYYY!!!!

Well, Pete is here, I gotta scoot out the door, but I'll write again soon. Hope you enjoy your Saturday night, and I cannot WAIT to hear those new songs that you've been kickin' around the past couple of years...50 of 'em, huh? You've been busier than you've let on, you sneaky man.  I love you so much for giving every ounce of yourself to this passion, and following your heart, and doing what you love in life. You are truly blessed to have such a wonderful opportunity, and we fans are truly blessed to share it.
