So Neal Schon would LOVE to have you join Journey for one last "farewell tour," would he??

If you haven't read the article yet, the link is above.  I find it to be very condescending, frankly, that Neal would even bother to say, "Sure I'd LOVE to have Steve Perry come back, I just don't know exactly WHEN that might happen..." What a bunch of crap.  I mean, talk about a backhanded compliment.  "Sure, come back and sing with us Steve, I'll have my people call your people, the day after never."

As for a Journey "farewell tour," now THAT's a laugh.  Neal has to pay more alimony!!  He can't retire for another 50 years!!  What a dumbass that man is.  He really irks me with this whole thing.  Telling people that there is a farewell tour only generates more ticket sales for the current tour.  It's just a way of padding his wallet a little thicker.  It's so transparent, it makes me sick.

Can he BE a bigger douchebag???  I mean seriously.  This guy is the biggest asshole on the planet...well, second only to Mitt Romney....and Paul Ryan....and Tony Aikin...and Sarah Palin....well, okay, he's in the top 10 of the biggest assholes on the planet.

Don't fall for it, Stephen.  Don't you DARE go back to those morons.  Ever.  You don't need them.  They just want to prostitute you to make more money for themselves.  Parade you around on the stage and say, "See, we are still buddies, and great pals, we kissed and made up, soooo everybody fork over your hard earned money now, because we're breaking up the entire band forever, uhhhh, buh-bye."

GRRRRRRRRRR.  If you play a part in that charade, Stephen, your fans will be horribly disappointed.

I can honestly tell you that I will never go see Journey again.  I am so over it, and done with the whole stupid soap opera.  I hope you are too.  I sincerely hope you will NOT join them for a farewell tour, if and when that ever occurs.  If Journey is going to end, let them end it without you.  The awards you absolutely deserve, the "last hurrah" dance with the devil, you don't.

Focus instead on YOUR SOLO CAREER.  You don't need them.  They don't deserve you.

That's just my 2 cents for what it's worth.  I love ya.  But if you go back to them, it's the same kinda thing as an abused wife going back to the man who beat her, ya know?  Why would you do that??  I'm thinking you're too smart for that BS, and I hope even if they offer you a bazillion dollars to do it, that you will say, "Fuck off, I'm done with you, I'm over the whole stupid mess, and I have moved on to do MY MUSIC, MY WAY, without any of you idiots."

Neal is a dick for even tossing that idea out there, he's just teasing people, like tossing a carrot to all the starving rabbits who want you back so badly it aches.  It's a pandering to the masses that is shameful, and all it does is stir the turds in the Journey soup.

I'd better never run into him in a dark alley, that's all I can say about it.  'Cause if I do, he'd better RUN.

NOBODY and I mean NOBODY hurts my Stephen and gets away with it, and CERTAINLY won't get a second chance to do it again.

Sure, I want you guys to be friends again---don't misunderstand me---but on a PERSONAL LEVEL, man to man, just between the two of you, PRIVATELY.....NOT as a circus seal playing the trombone for the world to see, as a ruse, just to make him richer.  Don't bow to the pressure, and don't give in to it.

If he was SINCERE about wanting to bury the hatchet with you, then he would NOT spew rhetoric and bullshit like this.

I have an idea.....you tell him if he REALLY wants to be friends again, then DO IT ON YOUR TERMS, or STFU once and for all.  Extend an invitation to HIM, that if HE wants to join YOU on YOUR NEW UPCOMING SOLO TOUR with your new ALBUM------the one you keep talking about-----then he's more than welcome to........but make sure you add that "you don't really know WHEN that might be."

See how HE likes it.
