Hi Steve,
Well, most of the chickies on Facebook have been celebrating your birthday the entire month of January, so I thought it fitting to wish you a happy AFTER birthday as well. Must be nice to have a whole MONTH of birthday love and wishes every year, ya lucky slob!!
I saw that you met the woman who did the voice over's for Rocky and Bullwinkle!!! That is so COOL! Bullwinkle was one of my FAVORITE cartoons as a kid. I was mesmerized by the damsels in distress always tied up to railroad tracks or a tree or whatever---and the 2 Russian spies were awesome (Boris and Natasha). But I especially loved Sherman, the intelligent dog who traveled through time. He was my favorite. Anything having to do with time travel was very intriguing to me when I was a kid. So the Bullwinkle cartoon was awesome---I guess that's another thing you and I have in common!!
Well, I do hope you enjoyed yourself, and everyone on Facebook was also trying to guess WHERE you were having your birthday---someone said you mentioned once in an interview that you always go to your home in Hawaii. Niiiiiiiccccceeeee!! Again, I will call you a lucky slob.
I'm not sure if my silly video creations were amusing to you or not...I re-recorded those damned things at LEAST 50 times each. Took me forever to figure out what to make each person say, and which voice simulator to choose for each person too. But, hey, I had fun doing it, so what the heck. The only person I really kinda treated badly is Deen, (he said "I suck," when comparing himself to Steve Smith), but that's mostly because I don't like the fact that he went to jail for physically abusing his girlfriend. Smitty would NEVER do such a thing. I am rather appalled by Deen's behavior though, so he sucks.
Ya know, you might be 20 years older than me-----19 actually, but I digress----that's really NOT a whole lotta difference. Now, if I were 5 and you were 25, well, sure, that's a problem. But, I will be 45 in April, you know. Plus I have hung out with older people most of my life, so I dig it. Pete and I are 10 years apart, and it really doesn't matter much at all. I love being exposed to music I never heard of from before I was born---he does that a lot with me. He takes me to concerts I wouldn't otherwise think about going to, like The Who. I really enjoy that. So I am sure if you ever showed up on my doorstep, I could definitely take you around Pittsburgh and show you stuff that YOU never heard of. I mean, have you ever gone to the Andy Warhol Museum? It's so bizarre and COOL at the same time. I think you'd really like that place a lot.
Well anyway, I do hope you had a great birthday, and thank you for your kind words in the letter you wrote for Fan Asylum. "So much I want to share with you," huh? "But that will have to wait until another time." You are SUCH a tease. Gimme a break. You had me rollin' my eyeballs about that.
I've decided to kinda redecorate my smaller living room a bit. I made the BIG mistake of going in to Pier 1......holy CRAP I love that store.....but I had to pay my bill. They gave me a store credit card, you see, which I TOLD them was NOT a good idea. But, they gave it to me anyway. The bill was paid, and then I walked around looking at stuff. Wooooo that's a really bad idea. I found a mirror that just grabbed me, and yelled, "BUY ME!!" so I inquired about it. The original price was $169, but it was on clearance, marked down to $129, which I thought was a pretty decent price. When the clerk looked it up in the computer, however, it was apparently the very last one of its kind and it was only $60 bucks. I yelled SOLD! and bought it right on the spot. You just can't beat that with a STICK man. I am a bargain shoppin' FOOL, but to get something really NICE like that from Pier 1 for that cheap, well, I felt like I had conquered the whole entire universe.
Soooooo since we have a black vinyl chaise lounge and black folding vinyl couch along with a darker sage green love seat that belonged to Pete's mom, I ended up finding some sage green square pillows at IKEA (another store I love), that are sage with black edging in a scroll pattern around the edges, which ties everything together very nicely. So, then with this new mirror, (it's HEAVY and HUGE), the whole room looks brand new. Of course, I already HAVE lime green and sage STUFF, like some fake plants, and candles, and a table runner, etc., so it's looking pretty cool so far. Not quite done yet.
Today the thrift store was my friend. My mom and I go to this place called the "Red, White and Blue," and they donate all proceeds to Viet Nam War Veterans. Wednesdays are SENIOR days, so my mom gets a discount, and if she "sponsors" me, I get the same discount. So, I found curtains, and I'm changing those out in the same room too. I found some awesome leaf-shaped decorative plates that are green with lime green veins, and I am happy with the progress so far. Decorating is my hobby. I'm seriously thinking I need to paint the kitchen and hallway though, maybe a pale celery color. I love citrus colors in the kitchen, so we'll see.
Well, that's all the boring news from my world today. I love ya, and I hope I gave you a giggle or two from those silly videos. I mean, what the HECK can people GET for you as a GIFT?!! You already HAVE everything you need, and want, so you're a tough cookie to think of ideas for. I'll betcha NOBODY ever made you videos like THAT though!! AmIrite?! So, I like to be unique.
Love ya lots....bye for now. xoxo
----Rebecca ps. I have SKILLS man. BIG GRIN!!
Ever wanted to talk to your favorite famous person, even if he or she is unavailable/unapproachable in real life, or dead and gone, or just not even possible to have a real conversation with? Who doesn't?! Well, so do I. So, I am going to chit-chat with the Main Man, my favorite singer in the entire world, Steve Perry, on this blog, just for the hell of it!! I'm a writer after all, so that's the kind of thing I like doing. Keeps me outta jail. *WINK*
Mmmm sexy...

The man is a gorgeous sexy BEAST!! I just want to eat him up!!
