Muse

Hi Steve,

Have you ever heard of the band "Muse?"  I heard a couple of their songs at the 1920's party last night, so I have been checking out YouTube to hear more.  I like most of what I've found so far.  Here's one for you.....I think you'll like it a lot.....it's called "Invincible."  It has an awesome intensity & great lyrics.

I don't know much about this group at this point, but what I'm discovering is that I like the singer's voice, and the lyrics are fresh and real, and the music is intense.  I guess they've been around awhile.  In 1996 they were 17 years old, apparently, and have been around ever since then.

I don't know why I haven't heard of them before now, maybe it's that "post 40-something music ignorance and dysfunction."  You know what I mean, right?  It's where you tend to lose touch with the newer musical stuff and lean more on the music you've loved most of your life....like classic rock.....it's kinda like being a Journey fan....know what I mean??  We'd rather listen to your voice than to anything new by singers who just don't compare.

Well, on that note, I just wanted to send you some tunes that you may or may not have heard before, and the lyrics of all of them really do sum up a lot of the feelings that I have for you.  ("Invincible" is obviously your talent and voice...."Endlessly" is the time I've spent loving you and your music...."Eternally Missed" is self explanatory, because I miss you tons...."Undisclosed Desires," well, kinda self-explanatory again...."Uprising," is one of those, "Get up and start singing again man," pep talks that I try to give you now and then....and "Time is Running out," just signifies that we're not getting any younger, so get busy singing dammit!!)  The "Hysteria" song...well....if you ever DO come back and sing again, your fans (including me) would be completely insane about it.  (in a GOOD way)!
