Hiya Stevie baby, what's shakin'?
Sorry I haven't written in the past couple of days...it has been a whirlwind and I figured while I am still somewhat stoked on caffeine tonight, I should at least write a short message to you before I go to bed.
We bought the house!! It is now official, (GREAT GOOGA MOOGA, we had to sign about 50 million pieces of paper, my hand was numb)....so now that we have the keys, and the "for sale" sign has disappeared, (what a ripoff, I wanted to see that SOLD sign dammit)...the next step is to start moving stuff...which we are now doing...and frankly I am TIRED ALREADY!! But, it's a happy tired, so I'm not complaining. I LOVE THIS NEW HOUSE!!! LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT!!!
We now have a storage unit to empty, a 2 car garage FULL of stuff to empty, plus a kitchen, dining room, pantry closet, Florence's bedroom and bathroom, our living room, hallway, my mom's room, Pete's office and our bedroom and bathroom to empty out....WHEW....it tires me out just typing all that.
So, this will be a "GRADUAL" move, at least until May 5th...HA!! Yeah, gradual my fat-aunt-Fanny. Not happenin'. Not possible. But I am determined to get the hell outta Dodge with the mom's on Mother's Day weekend, to Ocean City, so I want to get it all finished by then if possible.
Today while Pete was at work, at at his play performing as King Herrod for the last and final weekend, I took 2 huge loads of stuff over to the new house, unloaded it all, then took the minivan in to be fixed at the shop---left wheel bearing was kaput---and then I loaded the van again tonight, so that we just have to unload it first thing in the morning. So, needless to say, I am exhausted. My bones & muscles are sore. I'm so glad we bought that boxed spring that vibrates & lifts up our head and feet...that helps a lot.
Well, the goal for the week coming up is: 1. Get the mold removed from the attic crawl space. They are planning to do it on Monday. 2. Get the tiny gas leak in the hot water heater hose fixed. They are coming to do that on Tuesday. 3. Meanwhile, take more stuff from garage and storage unit over & unload. 4. Plan to move the mom's into the house (so they are comfy and out of our way here at the old place amidst all yhr chaos), by next weekend. 5. Collapse from exhaustion into a heap of muscle pain.
So, that's the scoop for now. I hope you enjoy your Easter weekend, eat some Cadbury eggs, or Godiva, (EAT THE BUNNY'S EARS FIRST!! IT IS THE LAW!!), whichever type of chocolate you prefer, and say a prayer to bless not only your loved ones, but also yourself--for all the wonderful music you've given to the world...you truly are an amazing person, and I love you very much. Thank you for all you have given to my ears (and my heart), since I was 10 years old. You've been with me all my life, and for that, I am grateful. God Bless You Stephen.
Now get busy and GET THAT NEW ALBUM OF YOURS DONE SO YOU CAN GO ON TOUR TO PITTSBURGH TO COME VISIT ME!!! hehehehe I don't ask for much, do I?? :)
Bye for now.
Love, Rebecca.....ps. Did I mention that it also RAINED all day?! I was also soaked to the bone while I was moving all this stuff. SIGH. Supposed to rain until next Wednesday, what a friggin' pain in the patoot!!! I WANT SUMMERTIME!! Please send me some California sunshine, Stevie. I need it!!
Ever wanted to talk to your favorite famous person, even if he or she is unavailable/unapproachable in real life, or dead and gone, or just not even possible to have a real conversation with? Who doesn't?! Well, so do I. So, I am going to chit-chat with the Main Man, my favorite singer in the entire world, Steve Perry, on this blog, just for the hell of it!! I'm a writer after all, so that's the kind of thing I like doing. Keeps me outta jail. *WINK*
Mmmm sexy...

The man is a gorgeous sexy BEAST!! I just want to eat him up!!
