My kitchen...

Hello Stephen,

Here is a photo of one wall of my kitchen...the staircase leading upwards has a built-in bookcase that you can see a small part of behind the clock and two signs.  "I don't have to be a great cook, I am a trophy wife!"  That just had me laughing all through the store.  It is no secret around here that I am NO GOURMET COOK...in fact, like another item I've got in the kitchen says, "the only domestic thing about me is that I live in a house."  I have another sign that says, "I kiss better than I cook."  I guess humor is the theme of my kitchen and dining room.  So, I found these two signs recently in a store and laughed out loud...I had to get them both and put them up in my kitchen, under my cool utensil clock. I don't really like all the USUAL, or "traditional" stuff that most women like to have in their kitchens. My best friend Laurie, for instance, loves to collect cows.  So her whole kitchen is decorated with cows.  Years ago, I decorated my kitchen with apples, but got bored with it real fast.  So now I'm just weird and find funny signs to put up here and there, that really sum up my personality.  I guess I'm just too "kitschy" in my kitchen. HA!  (groan) BA-DUM-TISH!

So, today Pete suggested I take a picture of them and put them on Facebook, which I did....like most submissive women, I am rather obedient in most things....(unless I am told to do something stupid)....I mean, I do have a brain after all...and I think I've mentioned to you before that I may be submissive, but I'm not a doormat.  But, because I seem to have this major need to make you smile every once in awhile, I figured I should send it to you also.  Did you smile??  YOU'D BETTER, DAMMIT!!

I say to you:  Fulfill my need!

I'm listening to the Brian Setzer Orchestra, (after listening to my own mix of songs that are yours and Neal's), and wow, I absolutely LOVE that style of music...I think I really was born in the wrong decade...I love the 40's.  Anything around the WWII era is definitely "my time."  I love big band music, all those cool dances where the men throw the women around the room, under their legs, over their heads, etc....very cool.  I wish I could dance like that, it's awesome to watch.

I don't really have much to say tonight, just rambling on about nothing in particular.  Pete had to work late, so he's not home yet.  It's nearly 11 p.m. and I'm just about ready to go to bed.

Well, I'll write again to you soon. Goodnight, sleep tight....have good dreams...

Love, Rebecca
