Happy Anniversary to me...

Hiya Stevie baby, what's shakin'?

Well, it seems that Pete's friend has a son who got 3 tickets to the Steelers vs. St. Louis football game this weekend, but 2 out of 3 people he invited couldn't make it.  So Pete bought the tickets for us.  We're going to be at Heinz Stadium, watching what may be the very LAST game of Heinz Ward...who knows if Ben will play or not, he seems to have broken a foot....a rumor at this point, but speculation is, he may not play. But we'll be at the 100 yard line, so hopefully we'll get to see some cool touchdowns.  We have never been to a Steelers game---it's virtually impossible to get tickets unless a season ticket holder DIES!  So, this is going to be rather interesting.  I hope the crowd isn't TOO scary-crazy though.  I can't go to anymore Penguins games...the only one I've been to, scared the bejeezus outta me, the people were so insane and ANGRY...it was freakin' me the hell out, I had to go hide in the bathroom for awhile.  I'm not a big fan of crowds, and if the crowds turn ugly, I'm outta there.

Anyway, so that's how Pete and I are going to spend our 2nd wedding anniversary.  Yeah, did I tell you that once before?  I don't remember.  Our wedding day was July 18...but we got married on December 24th.  We went to the justice of the peace (my idea, I didn't want to go thru all the rigamarole), but Pete said we should "give everyone a nice show," and getting hitched in December would give us a bigger tax refund to pay for it.  So, that's what we did.  It's kinda cool, having 2 anniversaries every year.  But Pete's birthday is in December too, so it's quite a busy month.

Well, I hope you'll have a wonderful Christmas weekend with your family, friends and the lady in the red dress...I really do hope you're both happy together for a long time.  It's not easy.  I can't believe I'm coming up on 2 official years of marriage with one man.  LOL.....I mean, my ex, Allen, called me the other day to say his divorce was finalized one week ago...and he wanted to know if I'd like to get jiggy with it!!  So, he still likes me.  I still like him too, we are still very good friends.  But, I told him I would never be anybody's "rebound chick," so I said he should go sow some wild oats for awhile first, and THEN if he is still interested in me, give me a call and we'll see if Pete will let him borrow me awhile.

*wink*  Hey, ya never know with Pete.  He's crazy like that.

Well, speaking of Pete, he's off work tomorrow and all of next week, so it'll be chaos around here.  I will TRY to write again this weekend, but we've got an outing tomorrow evening, our friend Lisa is cooking us Xmas Eve dinner, (even though we'll be gone to the game on Saturday for part of the day), and then Sunday we'll have a nice quiet day together....until that afternoon, when Pete leaves for NY to visit his son for a couple days. Finding out that your youngest son is going to be blind is quite a shock, to say the least.  He wants to go there to show support and try to get a handle on what to do so he can give all his kids a boost through it. I don't plan on going, so I could probably carve out some time to write to you then.

Merry Christmas Stephen.  I love ya.  (I do hope you get a lady in red sitting on YOUR lap for awhile)!!
