Twenty-seven to ZIP!!! WOOOOO!

Hi there, Mr. Perry...

Well, we are finally back after a long day!  What a game!  I don't think I'm an official "Steelers" crazed fan, but I did have fun.  I had to go buy a t-shirt, and my mom whipped up a black and gold scarf, hat and mittens for me (crocheted), so I was all set....didn't want to get beat up!!  We got to go down to the field, before the game, and hang out with all the players and stuff.  Pete got to play catch with one of St. Louis' guys, (no clue who he was), and I got a couple of photos of it!!

So of course, they're blaring music the whole time, so I "mo-zeed" on over and asked the music guy on the field if he would play some Journey for me....he said, "That'll be played during the game!"  And, sure enough, you were there with me in spirit---I heard your voice at the game today, singing "Anyway You Want It," as we were leaving during the 3rd quarter!

Pete wanted to avoid the massive traffic mess, so we left a little bit early. I missed being in the stands to dance when I heard it, but I did a little jig in your honor, as we got outside the stadium!  You so rock, ya know that??? You really do.  Gawd bless ya.

We won 27-0, so that was pretty cool.  It wasn't as scary-crazy with the crowd of people as the Penguins game was.  The hotdogs were HUGE...and I thought they sold them in the stands, but I guess that's only in baseball.  Bummer.  It was mighty good though!  (Shared it with our friend Donna, who got us the tickets). Her son Simon works for St. Louis, both the Cardinals and the Rams.  We got to take a tour of the field, standing around watching the players close-up, as they practiced and exercised.  Kinda cool!  I took some pretty decent photos.

Here is the view from where we sat...right behind the goal posts, in the 2nd section, top row!  Cool, eh?

Standing on the side of the field, watching the players warm up and exercise! Very cool!

Me and the Steelers Santa, all dressed in black and gold...

And of course, when will I ever have another chance to LAY on the NFL flag near the field??
Hadda do it.  Just hadda. Cuz I'm weird that way!

Pete and I on the field...hangin' with the St. Louis team...feelin' rebellious with our Steelers garb on!

And me, a self-portrait, with the field and the NFL flag in the background.

So there ya go.  Thought you might enjoy seeing those!

Our friend Lisa, who introduced Pete and I three years ago, is here with us to cook Christmas Eve dinner.  I should probably go help her out, so I'll say goodbye for now.

Love you more than Santa Claus, Mr. Stephen Ray Perry.

Merry Christmas!!

Love, Rebecca
