Still a "groupie," even now...

Hello Stephen,

I know I've shared this photo with you before, but this coming Saturday, I get to meet the boys of Journey once again!  I'm hoping THIS time for an Arnel and Neal sandwich though...Jonathan isn't my type!  (Especially after hearing Lora mention how he slammed the door in her face after dating her awhile, when she tried to talk to him about you leaving the band).  Kind of a dick move if you ask me.

Ah well, I was young and foolish then, and my hair is a lot less "big" now, but Neal and Jon aren't as YOUNG now, either.  I'm happy to say my cheeks aren't as chubby now either.
Look for yourself in the next photo...

I'm STILL somewhat of a backstage "groupie," though, because the other night Pete took me to the local community theater to see his play buddies perform in "The Wizard of Oz."
And of course, with my power of persuasion, here we are, after the show....

The Scarecrow (center) is Eric, and he's hilarious.  He's also flamboyantly gay, and I LOVE HIM! He's a great singer, and a very good dancer too, so he played the Scarecrow very well.  I have seen the other two guys in other plays as well, but I don't remember their names.  But, I caught them just as they were going into that room behind us, to change out of their costumes.  Good timing, eh?!

But, I'll have to do something else with this hair of mine before Saturday.  Not sure WHAT, but it needs SOMETHING.  And of course, unlike this photo, I'll be wearing makeup.  I'm not even sure what to wear, but I am thinking that it will be rather daunting to carry around a board game the whole time, so I hope I get to meet them BEFORE the show, instead of after, so I can dump it on 'em!

Ah well, I really don't think it'll get anywhere, those guys are stubborn (as you well know).  But, it has been kinda fun creating it at least.  Gives me something to do, other than take care of a 90 year old woman who thought today was Christmas Eve when she woke up. (SIGH).

Ya know Stephen, I love ya, and I really hope YOU never get dementia...I read recently that they do have a test now, that will tell you if you'll be getting it or not, if you're interested in finding out.  I don't know if I'd want to find out about myself or not.
I mean, there's no CURE for it, so if you KNOW you're heading in that direction, what can you do?
I guess some people would say, "I'll just jump off a bridge." But, what about those who wouldn't?
How could you keep on going, when you know you'll be a mental mess soon?
I don't know if having a test for it is such a good idea, until they find a cure too.

Well, if you get it, (for what it's worth), I know how to take care of you now, with all this experience that I've got from taking care of Florence.  So, there's another reason to meet me again, just in case!
Man that would be FUN for me...hehehe..."Yes, Stephen, it IS Christmas Eve today, and the present you're giving me is a wild romp in the sack!!" hehehehehehe

I am just incorrigible, ain't I?!
Yep.
And that's why you love me.

Well, I'm off to the wild blue yonder.

Have a happy Monday!

Love, Rebecca
