Ever wanted to talk to your favorite famous person, even if he or she is unavailable/unapproachable in real life, or dead and gone, or just not even possible to have a real conversation with? Who doesn't?! Well, so do I. So, I am going to chit-chat with the Main Man, my favorite singer in the entire world, Steve Perry, on this blog, just for the hell of it!! I'm a writer after all, so that's the kind of thing I like doing. Keeps me outta jail. *WINK*

Michigan morning...Happy Fathers Day!
Good morning Stephen, from a soggy Michigan. Stormed like crazy yesterday, first rain in a couple months I guess. It is 8 a.m., and my dog woke me up to go poutside. Sigh. My alarm is set for 9:30!! I never seem to get there though.
Anyway, today is the baby shower for my best friend's daughter. After that's over, I am going to the beach! I tookSassy there last might to go swimming, with my best friend too. The sunset was gorgeous as always. There are now signs all around that say "no animals on beach," but heck with it, my dog loves the water and she was so hot all day, screw it. I took her anyway and she had a blast!
Happy Fathers Day to you, Steve. I know you have been the best dad you could be, most of the time, and that's a blessing to your daughter. Believe me, every little good thing you do or say really makes a huge difference to a daughter. My dad just liked to pick on me and argue a lot about everuthing. We never got along. So compared to him, every other dad looks like a prince to me.
So ina way, I guess that is a blessing too. But a different feeling to it. Leaves ya feeling like maybe I wasn't worth being treated better---like a good dad would have proven otherwise. A blessing ina way, sure, but not exactly a pleasant one.
So I got Pete a nice Fathers Day present, but likeatypical guy, he sends me anemail of one ofour silly engagement photos, that he haa now learned he can photoshop anf caption too. Here's the photo:
(I cant seem to upload photos to blogger from my iPhone. Will add it later). Sorry!!
At the time, a Steelers football player was introuble for groping some woman in public, so Pete donned a jersey anfd groped me, and told me to pretend to slap him across the face. I, however, couldn't keep a straight face while doing it!
Yep, typical man. But, he'sall mine, so what can I say?!
Hope you enjoy your family today, and every day, and I will talk to you again soon. We are driving back to Pittsburgh tomorrow.
Love, Rebecca
Ps. We took off to the casino the other night and to my surprise, a live band was there, all dressed like YOU and Neal, playing Journey songs! I got some of it onvideo! Will add it here when I get back to the 'burgh!
