And the saga continues...starring Kevin Chalfant.

Hi Steve, well, here's another fun Facebook frolic with your buddy Kevin Chalfant... I know he's passionate, and I like that about him.  I love passionate people, and especially creative, passionate people, because I happen to be one myself.  But posting something silly like this photo below, without any kind of context, just irks me. So, I simply wanted more info.
His smart-ass retorts, however, really cracked me up.  Again, I say, it is VERY EASY to win a battle of wits with an unarmed person.  I think I'm going to have to open a massive bulk-sized can of whoop-ass on him before too long.
Love, Rebecca  ps. His sister Melva, my best buddy for 15 years, (if she were still alive), would join in with me, and we would gang up on him a lot about stuff like this, so he's actually quite used to my "devil's advocate" role!! hehehehe  We still get along though, he's cool. I miss Melva so much though. She'd REALLY kick his butt!! hehehehe

    • Rebecca -- Context? Who was she talking about, what was the entire wording of the whole story, when did it air, and where did the annual salary amount of hers come from exactly? Based on facts or was it all just made up BS? Journalism 101: As a news anchor, she also does not WRITE the stuff, she merely reads it from the teleprompter. Someone ELSE reports and writes it. Soooo....a little more info would be helpful before just agreeing with something that may not be based on actual facts. Just my 2 cents.

    • Rebecca -- Kev, I agree it should apply to ALL so-called "news" organizations to be objective. Don't do it to "please" ME--do it for your OWN peace of mind. That is the hardest part about critical thinking--doing the work to cut thru the crap and dig deeper for truth. It is worth it in the end.

    • Kevin Chalfant Nope... I am doing it for you because I can't stand to listen to Diane. She is waaaay too bias for me. I will read it or watch it, but I am definately doing for your critical thinking.

Rebecca -- Kev.....um.....I went to the link you provided.....but, did you read through the whole conversation? Did you see how the guy who wrote it, and probably CREATED this slanderous photo, is actually making it all up? He has no proof, no evidence, nothing. This is the kind of thing that I am glad to stumble on, because wow, everybody has the right to state an opinion, but accusing someone like Diane Sawyer of something that isn't true is crossing a fine line between LIBEL and SLANDER. When there really has to be irrefutable EVIDENCE first, to accomplish something like this--unfortunately, this guy provides absolutely NONE at all. He gets his balls busted for it too. Just be careful what you THINK might be fact, before you try to SELL it as fact....that's really hard to do, believe me, I know....and sure, I have goofed about stuff I thought was true too, but ultimately, that is really what we ALL need to strive for.
