Hey, this entry is to Wendy....(sorry Steve, chill dude, let somebody ELSE get some attention for once)! Don't be an attention whore!! Share the spotlight!! hehehehe
Well, I have JUST discovered that people have sometimes left comments about my blog!! I didn't realize that anybody COULD do that, and I've never really known how to check that before. I just come here, write, and leave most of the time, so I don't typically go looking through any of the technical stuff. Tonight though, I stumbled on them for the first time.
So, to Wendy, thank you for all your kind words, for reading this silly blog-o-mine, and for the compliments about how I sometimes 'break your heart' when I write so compassionately about the Holocaust. That means a lot to me, actually, because I don't get much feedback about it from anyone. Once, I had a kid hug me in his classroom after I gave a presentation, and he said I should do this more often because "kids really need to know about this stuff." Other than that, however, I don't get a lot of comments about it from anyone. It's just my passion, and I will do it with or without comments from people, ya know what I mean? Getting compliments is nice, sure, but that's not why I do it.
As for creating Journeyopoly and the Journey Scene-It game, that would be truly great if they ever allowed it to happen. For such creative men in such an awesome musical rock group like Journey to IGNORE those creatively awesome ideas (and money making potential) is mind-boggling. My mom heard "Anyway You Want It" the other day in a STATE FARM commercial, of all things. If they're gonna sell out like THAT, instead of making some fun GAMES for FANS like us to play, then I think they are really on the wrong track. I don't WANT them to sell out like that! But having a fan party where these games are being played, would totally kick ass.
Ah well, what do I know. I've just loved these guys all my life, that's all.
Apparently over 6,000 people have viewed my blog, and frankly, that scares the HELL outta me. But only a few people have left a comment, and that's fine with me. I am actually a bit afraid of the comments that I might get too!
Maybe it's better if I don't read them anymore...but, I just wanted to take a moment and let you know that I have read yours, Wendy, and I am glad you're enjoying my silly rants on this blog.
Thanks again for the kind words!! And yes, to answer your question, we ARE very blessed to have Steve Perry's voice in our hearts. Take care. (And I apologize if anything I have written has been offensive or shocking to you...I just write the truth about me, and it's not all cupcakes and unicorns)!
